At this time Rare Science is not accepting additional online requests for Rare Bears for children with PKU. All requests that submitted prior to 9/12/2019 will be sent out based on the schedule at right.

Dear PKU Families,
We will be changing the process of receiving RARE Bears from RARE Science. All future giftings will be in support of PKU registered events so keep an eye open (and subscribe to PKU News’ email newsletter or follow them at Facebook.com/nationalpkunews) for other opportunities to receive a RARE Bear. We will be processing all requests received through the PKU link prior to September 11th at 11:59 PST.
If you have received a RARE Bear please upload your picture to here so we can be sure to put in our RARE Bear Kid Gallery and send to the RARE Bear Maker that made this one of a kind RARE Bear for a one of a kind special child. It is this special relationship with the bear makers that keeps our program available to children. Although we do not gift RARE Bears to adults, our efforts in building community and research support help drive new discovery for the whole community both adults and children.
RARE Science’s mission is to help all rare disease patient communities world-wide and we are so happy to have connected with many of the PKU community, brought joy to kids and support to families.
