During her senior year Zoe was Editor-in-Chief of the school magazine and was a member of YoungLife, Interact Club, Eco Club, Social Media Club, and Spanish National Honors Society. In her free time she tutored junior high kids in math and discovered her love for math and numbers.

During her high school career, Zoe was able to maintain a 3.96 GPA and took various Dual Enrollment and Advanced Placement courses. These classes led her to realize how much she loves a challenge; therefore, leading her to join the Honors College. Zoe was also ranked 16th in her class, gaining her recognition at a Top 20 Banquet for her school. Her high ACT score and GPA reserved her a spot at the Ouachita Parish Scholar’s Banquet. Zoe was awarded the title of AP Scholar by College Board her junior year, and is waiting to hear her results from the past school year.

Over the past four summers Zoe has volunteered at King’s Camp, a Christian summer camp, as part of their works study. During this time work study would cook and serve food as well as cleaning the campground and setting up for activities. Starting at the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year Zoe will be trained to be a counselor at this same camp. It is here where Zoe was able to come to terms with PKU and fully embrace it into her life.
