Rachel Amadio believes that her success in life is directly related to her PKU. Having learned from a young age that PKU comes with many responsibilities, Rachel has used these skills in her academics. She plans to attend Kent State and study elementary education. She loves working with children and has been a volunteer at her local library for six years. In addition to academics and volunteering, Rachel is active in many other activities. She says that her PKU diet is mandatory but how she accomplishes it every day can vary.
