Help PKU Families in Puerto Rico

There are approximately 300 PKU patients in Puerto Rico who are potentially without formula and low-protein foods, let alone clean water & refrigeration required to maintain the PKU diet. Founded by PKU families in the U.S. to respond to the hurricanes in Texas and Florida, the PKU National Disaster Relief Efforts group has gathered cases of formula and low-protein food for these families, but the shipping costs are prohibitive. If you can, please donate to help defray the costs of shipping these essential supplies to PR. All donations are tax-deductible.

The group is coordinating with staff at the Hospital Del Nino, a live-in pediatric facility, and the dietitian at Hospital Pediatrico to ensure the supplies reach the patients in need. To learn more about why these supplies are so essential, click here.
